I have been with Freedom 55 Financial since 2000. My earlier career running a family business in the magazine industry was an ideal foundation for becoming a financial security advisor. Understanding my clients’ life goals and implementing effective financial security plans are hallmarks of the current success of my practice.

I am capably supported by an administration team, and when specialized expertise in a specific area is required, through Freedom 55 Financial, I have access to a team of experts. Our teamwork and follow-through aim to set new standards of service excellence and build lifetime relationships with my expanding client base.

I am passionate about listening to problems before prescribing solutions and helping clients realize their long-term life goals. My focus is on helping my clients reposition their family balance sheet to create opportunities to accelerate the potential for wealth creation and helping families leave significant legacies for their families and communities. I embrace evolving technology to help deliver the best possible client service and be respected in my community as a solid financial security planning practice.

Away from the business, I enjoy spending time with my boys, Cole and Nash, and cheering them on during football season. I’m a two-time holder of the Guinness World Record for the longest curling marathon and spend many winter hours putting in my backyard curling rink for the regular curling bonspiels I organize. My summer passion is touring Brandon and surrounding area on my Triumph motorcycle.

Lily Killingbeck

Executive Assistant

A graduate of the bilingual secretary program at Ottawa’s Algonquin College, Lily has 21 years of administrative expertise, plus direct and retail sales experience.

Lily began working for me in July 2002 as a part-time administrative assistant. Now, as my full-time executive assistant and office manager, Lily believes in providing professional client service and looks forward to helping develop strong client relationships. She’s one of the cornerstones of my business and enjoys working in a professional environment and being part of our "family”.

Away from the office Lily spends time with her three wonderful children. She also enjoys volunteering for special events such as the Brandon Safeway Championship Curling, the Tim Horton’s Road Tour Challenge in support of the United Way, and the Guinness World Record for the longest curling marathon.

Tanya Gerolamy

Administrative Assistant

Tanya began working in customer service in 1998 when she moved to Morden, Manitoba from her home town of Emerson, Manitoba. Over the next seven years she enjoyed getting to know the community and building her administration skills. In 2005, she ventured to Brandon and is now happy to call it home.

She spends her time away from work enjoying the outdoors, almost always with her dogs. She also volunteers with the Brandon Humane Society and the Volunteer Pet Therapy program through Saint John’s Ambulance.

Tanya has been with our office since July 2007 and her willingness to learn is a key part of her becoming an important member of our team. Tanya understands the importance of excellent customer relations and takes pride in making our clients feel welcome.
